On a frigid evening on top of the hill at Pelham High School, the baseball Patriots opened up the 2021 season with a 10-4 victory over the Panthers. Senior Brode Susce picked up the win on the mound, working 3 innings giving up one unearned run on 4 hits and 3 ks. Senior Austin Whitley covered the final 2 and 2/3 pounding the strike zone to earn the save. Offensively, “The Captain,” John Hall drove in 4 runs out of the leadoff spot. The Pats will play again…whenever the weather allows…
