HHS Varsity Boys Soccer Wins Florence Soccer Challenge

This weekend the HHS Varsity Boys Soccer team travelled to Florence for the Florence Soccer Challenge. On Friday evening, the Patriots beat Austin High School 2-0. With a 16-0 win over the visiting John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers, the Homewood Patriots improved to 4-0 on the year.  Sophomore starting pitcher Charlie Goode won his first varsity game working 4.2 innings of one hit baseball.  Goode walked two and struck out two.  Offensively, the Pats had 16 hits and 8 stolen bases on
