Homewood Girls Finish 3rd at Home Meet

Congratulations to the girls for placing 3rd behind Hoover and Auburn at the Homewood Invitational. The girls were led by Elysa Griffin who won the 100m, the long jump, and was 2nd in the 200m. Boys Golf 5th at Glencoe Invitational

The Homewood Boys Golf team finished in 5th place at the Glencoe Invitational on Friday & Saturday at RTJ-Silver Lakes in Gadsden.  The team’s 2-day total of 629 (315-314) is the 3rd best score in school history.  Westbrook Christian won the tournament with a 2 round total of 585.  They were followed by Muscle Shoals

Pats split in Oxford

In Oxford, the Pats (8-7) split 2, beating Ben Russell 11-7 and losing to Oxford 9-5. In game 1 vs Ben Russell, the Pats scored 11 runs on 9 hits.  Carson Griffis had 3 rbi while going 2-4 at the plate w a double.  John Wildman and Jacob Fitts each added 2 hits a piece

Pats shut out by Helena

JV and Freshman Soccer Defeat Spain Park

Last night, the JV and the Freshman soccer teams defeated Spain Park at Waldrop Stadium. The Freshman team took the field first, and in the opening minutes of the game, Mac Wooley scored the first goal for the Patriots. Boys Golf- Week of 3/11-3/19

The Homewood Boys Golf team finished 12th out of 17 teams in the Joe King Memorial tournament at Auburn University Club on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12.  The team was led by Junior Jack Poole (78-75 – 153) and Sophomore Jack Goldasich (79-78 – 157).  Poole finished tied for 23rd out of 90
