Homewood Girls Remain Undefeated in 6A

The Homewood Girls Indoor Track and Field team finished the regular season undefeated in 6A at the Last Chance Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex.  In one of the largest indoor meets in the U.S. with 158 schools competing, the girls placed 2nd overall behind 7A powerhouse Hoover.  Elysa Griffin led the team by finishing the

Homewood spoiled Vestavia Hills’ Senior Night, 41-33, on Friday night. Trey Jemison racked up a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds in the game, while Luke Touiliatos finished with 11 points, and Austin Patterson added nine points and four assists. Lady Patriots Host Area Tourney!!

As regular season champions the Lady Patriots are the Number 1 seed and will host the 6A Area 9 Tournament on February 9&10, 2016.  At 4:30 on Tuesday Feb. 9 Briarwood will play John Carroll at 4:30 and Homewood will play Pelham afterwards at 6pm.  The championship game will be Wednesday Feb. 10 at 6pm.

Patriots Win Area Title With Victory Over Pelham

The Class 6A, Area 9 regular season crown belongs to Homewood.
