HHS JV and Varsity Boys Soccer Defeat Fort Payne

Varsity Game: On Saturday, March 12, the Homewood Varsity soccer team hosted Fort Payne High School at Waldrop Stadium. Although Fort Payne jumped out to a 1-0 lead, the Patriots tied it up on a penalty kick by Ryan Hepp. Fort Payne scored again, followed by a quick goal from Laughlin Ashe to end the first half.

Under Friday night lights, the JV Girls pulled together to overcome some adversity with injuries to defeat Thompson 1-0.  The soccer match reflected a complete team effort.
