Rising 9th grade boys basketball tryouts begin tomorrow

Rising 9th grade basketball try-outs will be May 7,9, and 13-15.    Athletes trying out will be transported by school bus to the High School on those days.  Tryouts will be from 3:30-5.   Parents will need to pick up their sons at the High School at 5 pm.    A first cut will take place

Dates set for Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Area 10 Tournaments at Huffman High School

The Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball teams will compete in the 6A AHSAA Area 10 Basketball tournament.  The tournament will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at Huffman High School.  The girls will tip-off at 6 PM and the boys will tip-off at 7:30 PM, with both teams playing  Shades Valley High School.  The winners

Boys Varsity and JV Basketball games vs Ramsay moved to Friday

The Boys Varsity and JV Basketball teams will travel to Ramsay on Friday, February 1st to make up their games that were postponed on Tuesday due to both schools being closed.  The JV game will begin at 4:30 PM and the Varsity game will begin at 6:00 PM.

The Boys Varsity Basketball team opened their 2018-2019 season with a win over Hueytown, 63-55.  Senior Logan Padgett lead the Patriots in scoring with 20 points (7 rebounds), while sophomore Bo Barber put up an impressive 16 points.  Freshman PJ Davis chipped in with 11 points and a team high 8 rebounds.
