JV Soccer Claims OTM Tournament Championship, Completes Season Double

At Homewood, Mt. Brook shut out the Patriots (14-10) 4-0.  In spite of the loss, Homewood finishes 3-3 in a tough area and advances to the first round of the playoffs at Shades Valley next Friday.   The Pats travel to Brookwood tomorrow and host Northridge for senior night Monday afternoon.

Boys Soccer Edge Mountain Brook in Area Decider

It took overtime to separate the top two teams in 6A as the Homewood Patriots snatched a 2-1 victory at Mountain Brook Tuesday evening to win the area before both teams head into playoffs next week. Fans from both teams packed in to support their teams on a warm night and would not be disappointed

Boys Soccer playing for Area Championship tonight at Mt. Brook

The Boys Varsity Soccer team will be traveling to Mt. Brook tonight.  The winner of tonight’s contest will be the area champion and will host the first round of the AHSAA 6A State Soccer Playoffs.  Tonight’s game begins at 7:30 PM.  JV will kick-off at 5:30 PM.

Girls Varsity Tennis Advances to the AHSAA 6A Tennis State Championship

The Varsity Girls Tennis team advanced to the AHSAA 6A Tennis State Championship Tournament, finishing in second place at the Section 5 Tournament in Pell City.  The top two teams from each of the 8 sectional tournaments  will make up the field in Mobile.   The team will compete on Thursday, April 22nd and Friday, April

Pats bats wake up in 16-3 victory

At Homewood, the Pats (13-9) scored 11 runs in the first inning to cruise to a 16-3 win over McAdory.  John Hall, Max Heath, Charlie Goode, and Taylor Patterson had 2 hits each to spark the offense.  Heath drove in 3, Patterson had 2 doubles and 2 rbi, and Goode also drove in 2 runs.
